Georgia OIKONOMOU
Associate professor
·Born in Chalandri, Attika. Graduate of the Medical School of the Kappodistrian University of Athens (1981). Specialization in Diagnostic Radiology (1987) and PhD in Radiology (1993). She worked in the UK as a radiologist (FRCR 1991) and lecturer in Diagnostic Radiology (Manchester University 1991-93). Honorary lecturer and Consultant Radiologist till 1997.
Elected lecturer in Radiology in technological Education Institute of Athens (2000). Assistant Professor (2004) and Associate Professor (2009) in the department and the division od Radiology and Radiotherapy. Works as a radiologist part time in private practice
