Associate Professor in an organic position under the subject “Technology of ophthalmic and ocular multifocal lenses” & “Clinical Optometry”. Bsc as Optician- Optometrist, Master (Mphil) and PhD from the Vision Science & Optometry Department of Aston University Birmingham, Fellow of the State Scholarship Foundation (IKY). Worked as a Clinical Demonstrator in the ophthalmic lens laboratory, in the contact lenses and optometric examination clinics of Aston University and participated in ophthalmic surgeries at the G.A.H. (General Airforce Hospital). Academic Advisor of the Greek NARIC. Member of the European Optical & Optometry Academy (E.A.O.O). Member of the British Association of Contact Lens Applicators (B.C.L.A). Member of the “Elite Club” of Ciba Vision as a pioneer contact lens fitter. Participated with his work in conferences and workshops in Greece and abroad. Teaches in the undergraduate program in the field of Optics & Optometry “Ophthalmic lenses”, “Optometry” and “Contact lenses”. Has a rich authorial work, with articles published in Greek and foreign journals (32 articles in peer review at international journals and 53 articles in peer review articles at Greek journals) while 9 of his books are taught in the field of Optics & Optometry.
