He graduated from the Dental School of the University of Athens in 1988. PhD in removable prosthodontics in 1997. He is practising dentistry in his private office since 1988. He had been a member of the scientific faculty of the Dental School of Athens as clinical associate of the removable prosthodontics department from 1991 to 1997. Between 1981 and 1994 he was a member of the educational stuff of the Dental Technology Department of the Center of Higher Technological and Professional Education of Athens. Since 2000 until today is a member of the educational stuff of the same department in the Technological and Educational Institute of Athens. Today he teaches as a professor, in the Division of Dental Technology, of the Department of Biomedical Sciences, of the University of West Attica. He has written five books (three printed and two electronic-Kallipos) on complete dentures, research methodology, combined prosthodontics and on partial removable dentures. He has published 30 papers in Greek scientific dental journals and 17 papers in international scientific journals. He has accomplished 7 presentations in Greek and international conferences. There are 277 citations on his research.
