“EAST AND WEST IN THE NEW TRANSFORMATION PHASE: ASIA ENCOUNTERING THE CHALLENGES OF DEGLOBALIZATION”
December 16th – 17th, 2020
Amid the deglobalization of the world economy and politics, the shift of governance and regulatory institutions to the regional level, as well as the rise of nationalism in the foreign policy practice of many countries, the influence of the East on the world development remains high. A deep understanding and a comprehensive assessment of these processes synergized with training of highly qualified specialists with cutting-edge competences are important tasks of Oriental Studies and International Regional Studies as self-sufficient academic fields.
The Conference aims to discuss the main trends shaping the world development amid the deglobalization and regionalization of the world economy and politics. The discussion will be synergized with prospective tasks of Oriental Studies and International Regional Studies as comprehensive academic knowledge.
